We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in running a fleet of HGV's and warehousing.
Duties:
Ensuring correct resourcing to a high standard
Ensuring HGV driver and vehicle compliance
Working with warehouse and logistics co-ordinators and supervisors to ensure work is complete to high standard
Responsible for budgets and reporting
Working with and reporting to directors
Performing HR duties
Working with HS consultants to ensure compliance and good practice
Recruiting and training a team
Stock management
Experience/skills:
At least 3 years of mid-senior management experience ideally across a comparable role
Transport Manager CPC
Experience in Health and Safety
Experience managing a fleet
Experience with budgeting
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail an inclination to OCD levels of order.
